As a tourist destination, Suthep kindly provides a variety of attractions to satisfy families, couples, and groups of friends. The most popular tourist attractions, on the other hand, include the following details:
- Bhubing Palace is located at Doi Buak Ha, Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Province. During the holidays, it was the official residence of Thailand's Royal Family to stay on official visits to residents in the northern part of Chiang Mai. It was also a meeting place for Royal visitors who visited to strengthen ties with Thailand on various occasions. It was decided to build this palace because the weather here is fantastic, with beautiful landscapes, and because it was once the capital city, with residents who still uphold good traditions.
- Wat Umomg, also known as Suan Buddha Dhamma, is regarded as an ancient temple located in the western part of Mueang Chiang Mai. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions, with a large number of Buddhists visiting to pay for their worship while foreign tourists visiting to experience Mueang Chiang Mai's important historical site. On the inside of the temple, there are many beautiful mural paintings from the past, as well as Lanna's architectural designs that have been preserved.
- Chiang Mai Zoo provides visitors with spectacular experiences by allowing them to enjoy the animal cuteness and get up close and personal with elephants, zebras, giraffes, and pandas on open-air tram buses. Furthermore, visitors will surprisingly enjoy their time learning about aquatic animals at the Zoo Aquarium, which spans 133 meters. Other enjoyable activities include feeding whales, rays, and birds, among others. It opens every day from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.
- Baan Kang Wat is a small community built to resemble a charming little Thai artist village from the past, with each house featuring a unique design. It was designed to encourage residents to collaborate on activities and reflect on their past lives. There are also numerous restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, libraries, and art galleries for visitors to enjoy. It opens from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day except Monday.
