Samui Summit Estate is an exclusive gated community consisting of 14 Hillside villas with fabulous panoramic seaviews and 10 Balinese style Plantation villas. The Plantation villas are all of a similar design with three bedrooms, private pools and an open plan LR/DR/kitchen area. The Hillside villas range from three to eight bedrooms and all feature private pools, and large terraces for entertaining but each is designed and decorated for their individual owners making them unique.
The estate is located in the northeast corner of Koh Samui, Thailand. It is a short 10 minute drive from the international airport, a 10 minute walk to the stunning Cheongmon Beach and just 15 minutes drive from either Chewang Beach on the East coast or Bophut Fisherman's Village on the north coast. Samui Summit Estate features 24 hour security, a private tennis court, and a resident resort management team to assist you during your stay.
All villas have daily maid cleaning services and the concierge team can provide almost anything you could possibly require including chef services, in villa spa treatments, car/bike rentals for your guests, van and driver rentals, babysitting services and luxury tours throughout the island by land and sea.
The building (the bricks and mortar) can be owned by a non-Thai national outright in their name in what is called the house registry which secures ownership indefinitely of the structure.
In Thailand non-Thai nationals cannot own land outright in their name. Land can be controlled through either a Thai Company or a long-term registered lease. The longest registered lease term by Thai law is 30 years and most developers will offer 3 terms for a total of 90 years.
After you have found the right property at Samui Summit Estate you have to follow these steps:
A 30-year lease period is legally protected under Thai law and ownership cannot be disrupted. It is common for developers to offer an additional two terms of 30 contractually obligating a total of 90 years.
Prior to purchasing a leasehold property it is important to secure a copy of the lease agreement or get further clarity on these three points.
Thailand has different visas like Spousal Visa, Retirement Visa, Student Visa and Elite Visa - just to name a few options. Each visa has different requirements but they are usually easy to obtain.
