There are a wide variety of property types to rent in Thailand, from condominium units and apartments to houses and villas to commercial properties. All types of properties in Thailand can be modern and minimalistic or traditionally styled with Thai ambiance and furniture.

While condos and apartments are available all over the country, they are more popular in bigger cities such as Bangkok and Pattaya. Condos and apartments come in studio types, one bedroom, two bedrooms, three bedrooms, or more. Apartments can be serviced or not serviced. For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike to get around is the fastest and most flexible choice. Depending on the type of motorbike you wish to rent, expect to pay around ฿150 to ฿450 per day.

Thailand experience a tropical climate with scorching temperatures. The country is generally hot and humid all year. The average temperatures range around 28°C to 35°C, but in the hot season (from March to June) the temperatures can soar as high as 40°C. The rainy season usually starts from July to October. Expect heavy rainfall and raising humidity during this season.

Both tourist and non-immigrant visas can be extended through immigration. A short term extension stay is usually granted up to 30 days. However, if you need to stay longer, you can apply for a non-immigrant visa and extend it for one year.
