These two plots of land must have an elevation of no more than 80 meters before any construction can take place, in accordance with the city planning law of Phuket Province. The slope must not exceed 80 meters, as depicted in the figure. Additionally, based on the Town Planning Law of 2015, any construction is prohibited if the land is located more than 1,000 meters away from the sea, as shown in the picture.
Foreign nationals cannot own land in Thailand in their own name. The options for a foreigner to make use of the land are via a long-term lease or by investing in a Thai company that owns the land.
