The Carnival Magic Phuket, a stunning night-time theme park and entertainment spot in Phuket, finally opened last year in September after a 19-year wait. Operated by the same group as Phuket FantaSea, it's poised to become Asia's newest "tourist magnet," drawing visitors from far and wide to Phuket and boosting tourism in Thailand.

Exploring Carnival Magic Phuket: A Journey Through the 4 Main Zones

Zone 1: The Carnival Fun Fair, a shopping street  where various products are sold (even diamonds) and the shops are beautifully designed and decorated in a vibrant and attractive Carnival style. In addition to the shopping, there are activities and performances throughout the night, such as the Carnival parade, a VR game center, snack and dessert stalls, photo opportunities with mascots, arcade games, and many other game machines, such as a Ferris wheel, a carousel, or a go-kart race.

Zone 2: The Bird of Paradise, a buffet restaurant that can accommodate over 3,000 customers where you can dine in a paradise garden surrounded by huge colorful peacocks. In the future, there will be another luxurious restaurant in Carnival Magic called River of Bliss Luxury Restaurant, inspired by the Loy Krathong Festival. Zone 3: The River Palace, a massive theater spanning over 16,000 square meters or around 10 acres. With a seating capacity of over 2,200, it is among the largest theaters in Thailand and the world. The theater's impressive stage, measuring 22 meters wide and 70 meters long, plays host to the River Carnival, a spectacular parade that blends Thai art with modern technology. The 50-minute show features more than 88 procession barges, adorned with millions of lights and dazzling special effects. The highlight of the parade is the world's longest procession barge, measuring approximately 70 meters, almost as long as an Airbus A380 plane.

Zone 4: The Kingdom of Lights, a city decorated with over 40 million beautiful lights spread across 9 zones. Tourists can walk around and enjoy the stunning lights that go beyond their imagination. It's an exciting and thrilling experience all the time.

The highlight of the Kingdom of Lights is the "River of Lights" zone. It showcases millions of lights arranged in beautiful unique patterns on iron wire frames, which stretch over a total length of 50 kilometers.

What Time Does Carnival Magic Phuket Open?

Carnival Magic opens on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 17:30 to 23:30 hrs. River Carnival” parade show is performed at the “River Palace” Paradium theater at 21:00 hrs. Gate opens at 20:30 hrs. The parade show is 50 minutes in duration. “Kingdom of Lights” attraction will be open only after the main parade has ended.The restaurant opens 17:30-21:00 hrs.

He estimated that the proportion of customers for the project would be 70:30 for foreign tourists and Thai people, with the majority of foreign tourists being from India, China, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and targeting approximately 2 million visitors within the year 2023.
