The building (the bricks and mortar) can be owned by a non-Thai national outright in their name in what is called the house registry which secures ownership indefinitely of the structure. 

In Thailand non-Thai nationals cannot own land outright in their name. Land can be controlled through either a Thai Company or a long-term registered lease. The longest registered lease term by Thai law is 30 years and most developers will offer 3 terms for a total of 90 years.

    I am looking for an investment home for daily and monthly rental, and this house is exactly what I am looking for because of its unique Thai-Colonial style and white, which is a trendy color now. Yet, the design and the color makes it more classic and modern. This house is absolutely for relaxation! The project sells a customizable house, so I have to wait for 1 year. My house is a Villa L shape with 3 bedrooms and a pool, and a pavilion. The living area is quite spacious. The exterior color will be ivory, while the interior is mainly white. The furniture is perfectly fitted, and the inside is airy and wide so that the family members can enjoy the activities together. Around the pool, we can have a BBQ party or a party. I think the house is also suitable for renting out to the tourists for short- and long-term. It's good the location will give us privacy near the mountains, but it's quite far from the main road with fewer amenities in walking distance, so you have to drive.
