Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus is the first university in southern Thailand, located at 80, Moo 1, Vichitsongkram Road, Kathu, Phuket. Phuket Campus is the third campus of Prince of Songkla University, established in 1977. The purpose of the university is to provide people an opportunity to reach higher education in the southern region and raise local educational standards to be able to serve the local community. Nowadays, the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, has expanded educational opportunities by establishing many facilities. It consists of the Department of Computer Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering, other 3 faculties: the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, the Faculty of Technology and Environment, and the Faculty of International Studies. Also, there are 2 colleges: College of Computer and Phuket Community College under the management of the Office of the President of Phuket Campus, which support teaching and learning in the 2017 academic year. The campus has 17 bachelor's degrees and master's degrees, of which 6 are international programs, with a total enrollment of approximately 2,800 students.
