Pristine waters, welcoming sands, and exotic Thai food await you in Koh Samui, located in the east of Thailand. Here is a land that can enthrall you not only with its beaches but also its mountains and mesmerizing temples and luxury; yes, Koh Samui is the new tourist destination for those who want to have fun and also enjoy some quiet time while undertaking to do a sightseeing tour of the island.
Koh Samui has managed to maintain its natural beauty despite the influx of tourists all the year round. It has a very delicate ecosystem which must be protected, especially the coral reefs. Many tourists are not aware that coral reefs are susceptible and they die when they are trampled during the sea walking treks frequently organized by local tour operators. To protect the ecosystem and to reduce pollution of the pristine waters, The Marine and Coastal Resources Management Act of 2015 has imposed a few restrictions, one of which is a ban on smoking on the beach to prevent the smoked butts from polluting the land and the sea. So, be responsible and do your bit in keeping Koh Samui clean and green.
There are direct flights to Koh Samui from Bangkok (almost 20 flights a day), Singapore, Phuket, and Pattaya. You can reach Koh Samui by ferry and also by land, but that is time-consuming though cheaper than flights.
An exciting aspect of being in Koh Samui is that you can charter a yacht to explore nature at closer quarters at one’s pace and time, away from the touristy milieu. It is a once in a lifetime experience and value for money.
The warm tropical climate, the exotic cuisine, and home to some of the best medical facilities, Koh Samui, demands your attention and your time. Koh Samui hospitals are known for being inexpensive and of a high standard and quite popular for Liposuction.
