The Lake House is a villa development located in Cherng Talay, Phuket, Thailand. t is hotel-managed and features a fitness center, a clubhouse, 24-hour security, CCTV, a reception/lobby area, car parking.

The extremely well appointed 2-story villa consists of two wings at a 90 degrees angle with a free-standing guest house and utility area, with construction completed in Feb 2010. Land size is 2 rais including a strip of the lake (equal to 3,200m2 or 0.83 of an acre), with total construction area of 653m2 (20 percent), the remaining 80 percent being landscaped garden with large lawns, many trees, plant and flowers as well as a 50m2 kitchen garden.

All appliances such as stove, hood, dishwasher, main fridge and two mini fridges (master and guest house bedrooms), washing machine, dryer, 12 air-conditioning units and 2 dehumidifiers are all quality brands, in mint condition and only about one year old. Plenty of windows and large, sliding glass doors providing lots of natural light. Throughout the house there's a lot of stunning built-in wooden furniture, tailor-made for the individual rooms.

The building (the bricks and mortar) can be owned by a non-Thai national outright in their name in what is called the house registry which secures ownership indefinitely of the structure. 

In Thailand non-Thai nationals cannot own land outright in their name. Land can be controlled through either a Thai Company or a long-term registered lease. The longest registered lease term by Thai law is 30 years and most developers will offer 3 terms for a total of 90 years.

    I really like Lakeview because it gives the feeling of coming into a small village, it's very quiet and easy to relax.. and only about 10 minutes drive to Laguna shopping area and 15 minutes drive to BangTao beach

    I was surprised how big the land plots were! The units are beautiful with modern tropical interiors and large pools for the family. The villas surround a private lake in the middle of the complex which gives it a very peaceful calm atmosphere and on the plus there was a great breeze the whole time! Definitely would stay there for a getaway some time.
